Once we cross adulthood & then to our last breath we crave for one thing & one thing only. The urge for wanting to belong.


It may be a place, It may be for a person, It may be trying to fit into an organization or trying to fit into the world.


Ever wonder WHY?


From a very young age ideas, values & the process of discovering the secrets of oneself has to be taught which will help an individual understand the blessing of being born as a human.


We are involved in numerous things all day long, we have conversations with a lot of people in the name of work, responsibilities & family but at the end of the day we lie down on bed with incomplete awareness of where we are and what we have done. Ultimately being drenched in the feeling of loneliness & boredom.


Majority of our lives are wasted in actions & activities which we do to please our parents, society, world and what not.


Have you ever thought about why you do not follow your inner calling?!


Why is it you run behind the things that never kindle the inner fire you?


Why are you leading such a life filled with lies?.


You may cover up the deformities & weakness in the form of clothes & materialistic things. But do you think that is all life has to offer?


Here’s the answer !!!!!!!!!!!!


You’re hungry !!!! Your psychosomatic hunger for wanting to belong among the people of your own kind is so intense that you end up trying hundreds of things in the name of hobbies.


How many of you have a yoga mat, basketball, tennis racket, badminton racket, swimming gear, countless shoes stacked up for different sports, 5+ gadgets?


How many of you have tried numerous things and yet at the end felt more lost than ever ?


How many of you have felt, In spite of doing all this you feel like you do not belong to this world ?


Want to know the reason ?


ANSWER : You have lost the sense of belongingness


In the race of wanting to belong among others you have lost your true identity.


Here are a few thing you can do to become the best version of yourself......


1.Travel back in time - In the early days of your childhood there would have been one activity by doing which you’d be immensely happy, Start doing it again.


2. Stay away - It doesn't matter how many years you’ve spent with the people whom you’ve known. Deep down if you feel that they aren't meant for you. Just leave. Be alone, Contemplate & figure out who you are in silence rather than wanting to feel accepted.


3.Knowing - Start writing down your strengths, Start a book about yourself. Write about yourself. Create curiosity & self interest to explore every inch of your life and do everything you’ve ever wanted to do so that you won't have any regrets later on in your life. Take the leap of faith.


4. Travel - Visit places where you feel you’re safe and happier than the home you live in. We all need a physical place to call it home. I agree. You may have spent crores in building one or may be planning for one. Honestly, the real home you seek is elsewhere. Go & explore !!!. Live & Feel alive !!!!


5. “ME” Time - EVERYDAY DEDICATE 30 - 60 minutes just for yourself where you do something losing your identity completely. Here, You are not lost. You are just pausing your life for a few minutes & then when you go back to what you do you feel rejuvenated. Eg : Yoga or walking (without phone)


6. Gratitude - Be thankful for what you have & where you are. Give a pat on your back and say that you are great. Gratitude works wonders if you


7. Perseverance : It doesn't matter who is impressed or appreciating your work. If you love what you do, keep pursuing it. Never ever wait for approval from anyone else. Skip food & sleep but not the habit which is helping you be the better version of yourself.


8. Devotion : This literally changed my life forever. Surrender to your Guru and see the magic unfold. It doesn't matter how flawed they are, if your effort is sincere everything will come to you. Devotion is about you & you alone. Your shraddha(faith) can move mountains.


9.Clothing : Wear what makes you feel alive, alert & awake. For me when I wear a dhoti & kurta I feel it resonates with my inner nature. So, experiment with this. Know wearing what makes you feel you’ve come back to life.


10.Serve : If you have a roof over your head, If you are having nutritious meals 3 times a day, if you have a family to go back to after work, you are wealthiest in the world. Now go and help the ones who don't have one so that you appreciate what you have & what you have, So that you value them when it’s in your possessions and not cry after you’ve lost it.


I’ve been following all the above for years and have had no regrets. Infact, it’s helped me gain clarity and insight like never before and widen my thinking and experiences.


Follow the above. It doesn't matter how bright the sun is, The flower will blossom only when it feels like it.
